Dear Parents:

This notice is to keep you informed about the dates and times of the special events surrounding your senior.

Marching practices will be held Wednesday, June 9th, at 8:30am and Thursday, June 10th, at 8:30 am. Marching practice is mandatory for seniors if they wish to participate in commencement activities. Students will receive their cap and gowns on Thursday and have a picture taken for a class picture. The form to order a copy is attached and will be available to students.  The cost for cap and gowns is $25. 

Class Night is scheduled on Thursday, June 10, at 6 p.m. In the event of rain, Class Night will be rescheduled for Friday, June 11, at 6 p.m.  We are asking for participants to bring their own chairs if possible. Please have your senior let us know how many chairs you will need us to provide. 

  1. This year’s Class Night will be a ticketed event. Each senior may distribute EIGHT tickets for guests.  Tickets will be checked at the event to keep CDC guidelines and ensure fairness to our seniors and their families. 

  2. Class Night will be on the football field this year. The field will be available for seating no earlier than 5:00pm. 

  3. IF ACCOMMODATIONS ARE NEEDED FOR SEATING, please contact the school at (207) 794-6711 and ask to speak to our Senior Advisors. 

  4. For those who cannot attend, we are working on a recording of class night and graduation in the event that a live stream may not be feasible.  

  5. Guests do not need to be masked. Once seniors march out of the event, family and friends in each unit must wait for their seniors to join for socializing and pictures. We are asking groups to stay together as much as possible

 Baccalaureate is organized by the local clergy and scheduled on Sunday, June 13th, at 1:30 p.m.

Graduation is scheduled on Sunday, June 13, at 5:30 p.m.  All commencement activities will be held outside according to Maine CDC guidelines. These guidelines include the following:

  3. Every senior is invited to stay for a project graduation following the commencement activities. Seniors who wish to stay for project graduation cannot leave the premises.
