“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance…” 20 U.S.C. § 1681(a). In May 2020, the Department of Education published new regulations on sexual harassment effective August 14, 2020. 34 C.F.R. Part 106. https://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/newsroom.html R.S.U. No. 67 does not discriminate on the basis of sex or protected categories in its education programs and activities, as required by federal and state laws/regulations. Discrimination against and harassment of school employees on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation,gender identity,religion, ancestry or national origin, age,disability or genetic information are prohibited. Discrimination against and harassment of students because of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, ancestry or national origin, or disability are prohibited.
