Processing of work permits can be completed at the Superintendent's Office. The application, along with proof of age (birth certificate copy), are required.
The Superintendent's Office hours are: 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday thru Friday

Please note: In order to process the work permit the learner must have obtained a job offer from a business in Maine and be able to provide the job duties on the work permit application. The application is then sent directly to Augusta from the Superintendent office for review. Turn around time is approximately one week.
