Regional School Unit No. 67 (RSU No. 67) seeks a dynamic leader who inspires innovation and puts students at the heart of every decision to serve as Superintendent of Schools beginning March 2026.

Located in beautiful Lincoln, Maine, just 50 miles north of Bangor, RSU No. 67 serves the communities of Chester, Lincoln, and Mattawamkeag—a region known for its 13 pristine lakes, vibrant small-town life, and four-season recreational opportunities.

RSU No. 67 is a district of approximately 930 students across three schools:

  • Ella P. Burr Elementary School (PreK–3)

  • Mattanawcook Junior High School (Grades 4–8)

  • Mattanawcook Academy (Grades 9–12)

Applicants must hold, or be eligible for, a Maine Superintendent Certification (010) issued by the Maine Department of Education.
