Welcome, Dr. Michael M. Harvey, New RSU No. 67 Superintendent of Schools
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Michael M. Harvey, Ed.D., who will begin serving as Superintendent of Schools for RSU No. 67 starting July 1, 2026. Dr. Harvey brings over thirty years of experience across district and building leadership, curriculum development, and strategic planning. His recent 14 years as a regional superintendent in Massachusetts, including his current role as Superintendent of the Masconomet Regional School District since 2019, and seven years leading the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District, reflect a sustained commitment to data-informed decision-making, developing shared visions for student success, and creating systems that prepare all students for future success.
Dr. Harvey’s administrative background also includes serving as Principal of Belmont High School and K–12 Director of Social Studies for Belmont Public Schools, and he began his career as a secondary English and social studies teacher. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and History from Amherst College, a Master’s Degree in History from Northeastern University, and a Doctorate in School Leadership from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. As superintendent, Dr. Harvey intends to prioritize professional growth for staff, strengthen curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices, and collaborate with the RSU No. 67 community to ensure equitable opportunities and measurable student outcomes.
