RSU 67

Regional School Unit No. 67 announces that Dr. Paul Austin was elected unanimously as the next Superintendent by the School Board at their meeting on May 18, 2022. 

Dr. Austin holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Public Policy and Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Maine, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from the University of Maine at Orono, a Master of Science degree in School Psychology from the University of Southern Maine, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington.

Dr. Austin has spent over thirty years in education including twenty years as a school administrator.  His administrative positions include Special Education/Section 504 Coordinator in M.S.A.D. 54, Assistant Superintendent of Union 74, Director of Student Services in Brunswick, Superintendent of R.S.U. No. 3, and Superintendent of the Hingham Public Schools in Massachusetts.  Currently, he is the Director of Student Services in R.S.U. No. 67

Dr. Austin replaces Mrs. Jean Skorapa who is leaving R.S.U. No. 67 to become the Superintendent in R.S.U. No. 5 in Freeport.
