Good Afternoon,
It is hard to believe, but this Thursday, August 4th, is the last day of summer school services. As the heat of this exceptionally warm summer continues, the forecast for Thursday calls for temperatures in the 90s with very high humidity that will make it feel even warmer. Due to the excessive heat and humidity expected, we have made the decision to do an early release of all students at 11:30 am on Thursday. This will allow everyone to return home before the most substantial heat of the afternoon. Students will still have the opportunity for breakfast as usual and lunch will be provided prior to dismissal. If you are concerned about the heat and wish to keep your child home on Thursday, we ask that you please let us know as soon as possible by contacting Elvia Malcolm at 794-6500 extension 1180 or by email at emalcolm@rsu67.org.
