This afternoon a staff member reported a concern about a gas appliance in the kitchen at Mattanawcook Junior High School. Following our emergency response plan, we have evacuated the students and staff to a safe location and a gas technician is on-site to evaluate the situation.
All students and staff are safe and we expect this to resolve quickly. We will update you once more information is available.
