Earlier today, the Maine Information and Analysis Center (MIAC) made us aware of multiple active shooter calls being reported to educational facilities across the state. These calls have been deemed hoaxes and appear to be a part of an ongoing national trend. While we are grateful that RSU 67 did not receive one of these calls, we understand how state events might impact our students, families, and staff. If you or someone you know needs support as a result of today's events, we encourage you to contact your building principal or a school counselor for assistance.
Please know that safety and security is our top priority and that any threat against the district, students, staff, or families will be taken seriously. If you see or hear any such threats, we ask that you please contact local law enforcement immediately.
