Dear RSU 67 staff, students, and parents/guardians,
I want to thank everyone for their resilience in getting to school safely and making the best of a difficult morning commute today. Despite the two-hour delay and unusually warm temperatures, the rain on top of several inches of snow made for challenging travel and slower than usual clean up. I want to especially thank our building and grounds personnel, custodial crews, and transportation department for coming in very early this morning to clear lots and sidewalks, and for safely transporting children to school.
As we head into the weekend, I want to remind you all that RSU 67 schools will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2023, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. As we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., may we reflect upon, and be inspired by his message of equality, peace, and service to the community.
