Mattanawcook Jr. High School

I am pleased to let you know our students' artwork has been selected for the Maine
Visual Arts Education Showcase. Over forty of our paintings will be
exhibited in the state capital's Hall of Flags for three months. 

About 8-10 artists per grade will be selected for the exhibit. The
student-artists and their families will be invited and shown a special
tour of the State House in Augusta. They will then get to see their
paintings in the Hall of Flags! There were very few schools chosen for
this honor this year, from across the state. Please look for more news
soon. Thank you for supporting and encouraging our creativity.
