Mattanawcook Junior High School raised a total of $3,037.00, consisting of the $300 base donation from Hannaford Helps and additional funds from 509 community-redeemed coupons directed to our school!
As one of the top 200 schools in the program receiving directed donations from shoppers, the amount above also includes a bonus of $1,000 from Hannaford Helps Schools.
Thank you to everyone who contributed by saving receipts/scanning them to our school on the app, etc.
We would also like to thank Aaron Smith and Hannaford for coordinating a donation of canned goods for our pantry.
Good Shepherd Food Bank also provided us with a one-time $1,000 credit to purchase food through them in recognition of the strain they know families in our community are experiencing.
We could not serve the families we do without the continued help from our community, and we'd like to thank the various anonymous donations of food and money to purchase food.
