All MJHS 7th and 8th graders are invited to attend both the dinner at 6:00pm in the cafeteria and the dance from 7:00-9:00pm in the gym.
Dinner: Pizza, ice cream, and assorted snacks and drinks are on the menu, and there is no charge thanks to the generosity of local businesses providing discounts. Staff will serve students in the cafeteria, and the gym will not be open during the dinner. If your student is staying for the dance, especially if they eat quickly, they may want to arrive later than 6:00 as they will have to wait in the cafeteria until 6:45 before going to the gym for pictures.
Dance: There is no admission charge for the dance. We will allow families to enter the gym/lobby area for pictures starting at 6:45, and will ask that they leave at about 7:00pm to allow our students time to dance. Students must stay in the gym/lobby area during the dance, and will not be readmitted if they leave the designated area. Please make sure someone picks up your student promptly at 9:00pm.
