The junior high wrestling meet at Dexter today has been postponed, with no makeup date at this time. With all after school activities being cancelled there will be no practices today either.

Sports pictures for junior high wrestling and junior high unified basketball will be on Wednesday, March 8th at 11:00 am. Coaches will be handing out order forms this week. I've also included an image of the order form that you can print out and use if you prefer.

The MJHS wrestling meet at Orono on Wednesday, 3/1 will now be in the Orono Middle School gym instead of the high school.

MJHS Wrestling Practice on Friday, February 24th has been moved back to 12:00-1:30 at MA to give crews more time to clean up the roads after the snow ends.

The MJHS ski trip to Mt. Jefferson is cancelled on Thursday, February 23rd, due to predicted unsafe traveling conditions. There is still a planned trip on Saturday, February 25th.

Due to the impending weather, the ski trip for Thursday, February 23 has been canceled.

MJHS Ski Club Update 2/21/23: VACATION SKI TRIP SPACES AVAILABLE: We have limited spots for the trips to Mount Jefferson this week. There are 9 spots on Thursday, February 23rd, and 8 spots on Saturday, February 25th. The cost is $22, and it is important to have exact change or a check made out to MJHS. Your student must sign up for the dates they plan to attend by emailing Coach Carmichael at acarmichael@rsu67.org. If your student's plans change, you must also reach out to Coach Carmichael by email. Students who are signed up will be allowed on the bus first. Anyone not signed up will have to wait to see if there is space before being allowed on the bus. Please also make sure to plan for the weather conditions and bring layers. MJHS Ski Club Update: VACATION SKI TRIP DATES: Over February Vacation, we will be going to Mount Jefferson on Saturday, February 18th, Thursday, February 23rd, and Saturday, February 25th. The cost is $22, and it is important to have exact change or a check made out to MJHS. We only have one bus per trip. We can only take 40 students in total for each trip. Your student must sign up for the dates they plan to attend. These sheets are in the office this week, and we have been announcing this information to students at school. Many students have signed up, but there are still limited spots available for each trip. If your student's plans change, you must reach out to Coach Carmichael at acarmichael@rsu67.org. Students who are signed up will be allowed on the bus first. Anyone not signed up will have to wait to see if there is space before being allowed on the bus. MJHS students and staff will be participating in WinterFest activities on Thursday, February 16th due to predicted weather conditions being more favorable than on Friday. Please help your student enjoy these activities to the fullest by helping them remember any appropriate clothing or gear for the activities they signed up for.

There will be no MJHS Wrestling practice on Thursday, February 16th.

There are no athletic practices or events for Mattanawcook Junior High School today (2/3) or tomorrow (2/4).

The Lincoln Public Works Garage is open for Lincoln residents from 5pm Friday, February 3rd through 9am Saturday, February 4th. Please bring any medication, food, and blankets if possible. No pets are allowed. Stay Warm!

The Junior High Cheer Competition scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed to Tuesday, February 7th. The doors open at 4:00. The teams bus will depart at 2:00.

Due to the extremely cold temperatures predicted on Saturday, February 4th, the MJHS ski trip to Mt. Jefferson is canceled.
