June 11th Covid Vaccine Clinic UPDATE: We are now able to accommodate requests for a first dose at the June 11th clinic. If you have a first dose on June 11th, you will need to schedule a second dose with PCHC by calling 207-355-5066. You will also need to complete a form. Students who received their first dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine are scheduled to receive their second dose this Friday morning, June 11th, but a new form must be completed by the parent. Due to the continued predicted high temperatures all schools in R S U # 67 will have an early release day on Tuesday, June 8th. Students in 4-6 will be dismissed at 11:00 and students in grades 7-8 will be dismissed at 12:00. Thank you for your understanding at this late moment change.

The ice cream socials scheduled for tonight, Monday, June 7th have been rescheduled. The a boys baseball team will hold their social on Wednesday, JUNE 9th from 3:30-4:00, the A softball team will hold their social on Thursday, June 10th, from 3:30 to 4:00

MJHS student laptops will be collected as follows: In-person learners will need to turn in their laptops before leaving on Friday, June 11th. This includes the charger, case, mouse, and any other technology issued to them by the school. Please make sure your child brings any of these things from home. Remote learner laptop and hotspot return will be on Tuesday, June 15th between 7:00am and 8:00am, 8:30am and 10:00am, or on Wednesday (6/16) or Thursday (6/17) between 7:00am and 3:00pm. Thank you!

Monday, June 7th, is expected to be a record-breaking hot day. Please make sure your students dress appropriately to stay cool, bring sunscreen for recess and outside mask breaks, and bring a refillable water bottle. We will postpone our music concert to Wednesday, which was originally our rain date, due to the heat.

The 8th grade teachers would love to share information about the progress your 8th grade student has made this year. We are offering "exit conferences" on Tuesday June 1 and Wednesday June 2. Your 8th grader will be bringing home a sign-up sheet for you to look at. Your "conference" can be an email, phone call or zoom meeting at a time convenient for you. The team feels it is really important to touch base with you one more time and we hope you feel the same. Please be looking for the sign-up sheet and return it ASAP. Thanks for all you have done to support your kid(s) and the 8th grade team this year!!

The A baseball game against Medway at MJHS is still on for tonight. The A softball game against Medway at MJHS has been canceled for tonight. There will be practice for A softball today from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.

There will be no A softball practice at MJHS tomorrow, May 21st.

There will be no A baseball practice at MJHS on Monday, May 17th. The B baseball team will play at 4:00 vs Central.

Intramural tennis will be finishing up this week, they will practice on Tuesday, May 18 and Thursday, May 19 this week. There will be no practice on Wednesday, as the coach has an appointment. Thank you!

Any eligible student (ages 12 and older) who is in quarantine, may still attend the COVID-19 vaccine clinic located at MJHS on May 21, 2021 beginning at 9:00am. The vaccine clinic will be held in tents in front of Mattanawcook Junior High School. The completed vaccine forms can be emailed to jdavis@rsu67.org or jmckechnie@rsu67.org or faxed to MA (794-3205) or MJHS (794-2601). Completed forms are due by 05/19/2021. If you have a student who is in quarantine, we ask that the person transporting the student come to the tent to advise staff that the student is present. Please drive along the sidewalk along the softball field like you would for student drop-off. PCHC will administer the vaccine in the vehicle. Be prepared to wait in the vehicle for 15 minutes following the vaccine administration.

The MJHS baseball and softball games scheduled for today @ Medway will be played at the Medway Middle School, the fields are directly behind the middle school.( May 13th)
