For tomorrow's boys basketball games at Calais they are allowing away fans. The JV game starts at 1:00 and the Varsity game is at 2:30. The bus leaves at 11:15.

Mattanawcook Academy will be doing a winter sports picture make up day on Wednesday, December 22nd at 9:00 AM in the gym at MA. This is for any athletes that were absent the day of winter sports pictures. Due to the timing of getting orders completed for winter sports this will be the final opportunity to get winter sport pictures taken.
Congratulations to Deegan Tidswell as he joined the MA Wrestling 100 win club yesterday in our home meet! MA had very successful matches against Dexter, Foxcroft/Old Town, Caribou and PCHS. It was great to see our wrestlers in action and in front of fans again! Go Lynx!!

Tomorrow's boys varsity and junior varsity basketball games at PVHS have been moved back to 1:00 (JV) and 2:30 (Varsity). The bus will leave MA at Noon.
Due to the forecast of freezing rain and potentially dangerous travel conditions the MA wrestling team will not be attending the wrestling meet at Mountain Valley tomorrow, Saturday, 12/11.

The boys and girls varsity preseason basketball games at Houlton tonight will be livestreamed on whoufm.com The girls play at 5:30 and the boys at 7:00. Away fans are allowed. The bus leaves at 3:30.
For the boys JV and Varsity basketball games at PVHS this Saturday we have 50 passes that the coaches will be distributing to the players on the teams this week. Please keep an eye out for these to come home and don't lose them. You must have a pass to be able to get into the games at PVHS. They are charging admission for the games.

MA varsity basketball host Presque Isle tomorrow (12/4) in a pair preseason exhibition games. Girls play at 11:00 and the boys play at 12:30. We are allowing home and away fans. Everyone in the gym must wear a mask. We are charging admission and we are attempting to livestream on the NFHS paid site just like last year. We are doing a test run for this preseason game, so please be patient.

Here is some more covid information for you. If your student-athlete test positive for covid there is a form that needs to be filled out prior to them returning to action. Once they can return to action there are gradual return to play guidelines that are similar to last year, but slightly different based on the doctor's note on the PCP form.
