Saturday's Class B State Wrestling Tournament at Mattanawcook Academy is a MPA sponsored event. The admission prices will be $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and students.
Mattanawcook Academy will be hosting the Class B Wrestling State Championships this Saturday, February 18th. The doors open to the public at 9:00 and matches start at 10:00 am.

The MA Girls Basketball team will host Stearns tomorrow, February 14th at 6:00 for their preliminary round playoff game.
The MA Senior basketball games are tonight vs Sumner. We will honor the boys seniors and pep band seniors five minutes prior to the start of the boys game at 5:00. We will honor the girls seniors and cheer seniors five minutes prior to the start of the girls game at approximately 6:20. Senior parents please arrive early to be ready for the recognition ceremony.
The Class C North Cheer Regional competition begins at 5:40 pm today at Ellsworth High School.
Tomorrow's boys basketball game at PVHS will be varsity only and the game will start at 5:30.
The MPA duals championship meet is being held tomorrow at 10:00 am at Cony High School. This is a championship meet that cannot be rescheduled, so the wrestling team will depart at 6:30 am. We have put safety precautions in place to make this as safe as possible for our athletes and coaches.
All other practices and games for tomorrow are postponed. The girls basketball game at GSA has been postponed until Wednesday, February 8th.
The MPA Northern Cheer Regional has been postponed until Monday, February 6th at Ellsworth High School. The start time is tbd.
Today's MA boys basketball game at Woodland will be a varsity only game at 5:30. The bus will depart at 3:15.

For the PVC cheering competition at Stearns high school tomorrow the admission will be $5.00 per person, with children age 7 and under free.
There will be an admission charge for the PVC wrestling meet at MDI tomorrow. Just so you can plan ahead here are the prices: $5.00 for students & senior citizens, $7.00 for adults, and $20.00 for a family of 4 or more. We are entering championship season and the price of tickets are typically higher than the regular season.

Tomorrow's MA basketball doubleheader vs. Sumner has been moved up to a 3:30/5:00 start time in an attempt to get the games in before the snow arrives. It is a varsity only doubleheader, the girls play at 3:30 and the boys at 5:00.
