Tomorrow's cancelation of school due to the incoming storm means there will be no athletics tomorrow, December 22nd. The girls basketball game vs. Lee has been postponed and we will not be attending the wrestling match at MDI. All practices are canceled as well.
The MA boys basketball game at Calais will be made up on Tuesday, December 28th. The JV game is at 5:00 and Varsity at 6:30. The bus will leave at 3:00.

The boys basketball teams will practice at their scheduled times today. Varsity at 2:45-4:45 and JV from 4:15-5:45. As soon as we get makeup information for the Calais game from Saturday we will let you know.

Mattanawcook Academy will be doing a winter sports picture make up day on Wednesday, December 22nd at 9:00 AM in the gym at MA. This is for any athletes that were absent the day of winter sports pictures. Due to the timing of getting orders completed for winter sports this will be the final opportunity to get winter sport pictures taken.
Congratulations to Deegan Tidswell as he joined the MA Wrestling 100 win club yesterday in our home meet! MA had very successful matches against Dexter, Foxcroft/Old Town, Caribou and PCHS. It was great to see our wrestlers in action and in front of fans again! Go Lynx!!

Tomorrow's boys varsity and junior varsity basketball games at PVHS have been moved back to 1:00 (JV) and 2:30 (Varsity). The bus will leave MA at Noon.
Due to the forecast of freezing rain and potentially dangerous travel conditions the MA wrestling team will not be attending the wrestling meet at Mountain Valley tomorrow, Saturday, 12/11.

The boys and girls varsity preseason basketball games at Houlton tonight will be livestreamed on whoufm.com The girls play at 5:30 and the boys at 7:00. Away fans are allowed. The bus leaves at 3:30.
For the boys JV and Varsity basketball games at PVHS this Saturday we have 50 passes that the coaches will be distributing to the players on the teams this week. Please keep an eye out for these to come home and don't lose them. You must have a pass to be able to get into the games at PVHS. They are charging admission for the games.
