Monday, January 5, 2026 UPDATE: MJHS is experiencing heating problems this morning. Siemens has investigated the problem, is locating a part, and plans to install that part as soon as possible today. It is currently 58 degrees in eight classrooms, so we do ask that students and staff dress in warm layers for comfort. The classrooms affected are Mrs. Clifford, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Moon, Mrs. Zaroff, Mr. Fitch, Mrs. Cole, Mrs. Morin, and the gym.

Games on Tuesday are on as originally scheduled. We have worked out the lack of officials. Boys A and B still going to Sedo, Girls A and B still at MJHS..
The games on Tuesday are up in the air at this point. There aren't any officials available for our home games. Because the regular season is ending, we have very few options to get them in. Also, Sedomocha's AD is on vacation, so he isn't really checking email regularly. He did say we would come up with a plan before the end of the weekend, and I will update this as soon as I have something official.
Right now, I think our best option is to send both A teams to Sedo. I know it's not ideal since our girls are supposed to have them at home, but they can get officials over there, and the A games are the ones that have a deadline, plus our B teams have had a couple of extra games already. I will update this before the end of the weekend with the official plan, but anyone looking at next week's practice plan was going to notice that Tuesday is a big question mark at this point. Stay tuned.

The games against Medway that were cancelled a couple of weeks ago have been rescheduled for January 8. Boys B and A at MJHS 3:30/4:45, girls B and A at Medway, same times. I am still waiting to hear back that we got officials, but we should be fine.
There are some major changes to the sports schedule for this week. I apologize for any confustion. There is a major lack of officials available tomorrow, so they couldn't cover our home game or our game in Dexter along with several others. Those games will be made up on January 5. Teams will practice tomorrow. Please see the updated practice schedule. Also, there will be no practices on Wednesday because the gym is reserved for a community event.
December 2nd, 2025: Good Morning from MJHS! RSU 67 will be dismissing at 11:30 today so our students can arrive safely home ahead of the anticipated winter storm.
Cheering practice for tonight 12/1 has been cancelled due to illness in coach's household. Coach King was going to update the group chat to let parents know, but I wanted to post it to as many places as I could so parents are aware.

MJHS parents, please refer to the updated practice schedule for this week. There are no basketball practices on Thursday as the gym in unavailable during parent/teacher conferences. Also, the girls basketball parent meeting has been changed to 6:00 on Wednesday to make it earlier for everyone involved.
MJHS Cheering practice that was moved to MJHS cafeteria on Monday and Wednesday will be from 3:45-5:45. Sorry for the confusion. When we first changed it, we didn't realize there were clubs in the cafeteria until 3:30.
Please note a change to the practice schedule for 11/10 and 11/12. Due to parent teacher conferences at EPB, the Jr. High Cheering will take place at MJHS in the cafeteria. Same time, 2:30-4:30
Please note the slight change to girls basketball tryouts on Thursday, November 6. All girls will be trying out together from 2:45-4:15.

An order form will be going home with the student's today for the families that are unable to pay online. Please understand that if you send money in with your student, it is their responsibility to bring it to the office and they will be given a receipt upon payment. A parent/adult may also bring in the order form/cash between the hours of 7:30 - 3:30!
