Save the Date(s) for MJHS Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, November 20th from 3:00-6:30 and Monday, November 24th from 3:00-6:30. More information regarding scheduling appointments will be available from classroom teachers at the end of October/beginning of November.

Girls soccer practice has been changed on Thursday 10/2. They will practice from 2:30-3:30.

Golf and Girl's Soccer practices are cancelled today because of the impending weather.

Beginning Band Night for Grade 5

A reminder that Monday night is Beginning Band Night for Grade 5 at 6 pm in the MJHS gym.

If your child is interested in learning a band instrument (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone or drums) please come to the meeting.

If you are hoping to borrow a school instrument, please message me so I can see if I have an instrument for your child. You will also need a book.

If you already have an instrument, you will need to purchase a book. You may want a music stand as well. They will be available that night.

If you can not make the meeting, please let me know so I can assist you in getting what your child needs.

Please refer to the updated practice schedule. A few changes have been made for this week. First, there will be no golf or girls soccer practice today because both coaches are out today. Second, on Wednesday, the boys and girls soccer teams are changing practice times because of a scheduling conflict for the boys coach, so girls soccer will be 2:45-4:15, and boys will be 4:00-5:30. Finally, barring any teams wanting to schedule a game last minute, there will be no football game this week. Belfast doesn't have enough kids, and I have had no luck finding another opponent.

There will be no MJHS Cross Country practice on Tuesday because of coach's conflicts. Sorry for the late notice. Pictures will be rescheduled. Coach Cox is going to talk to Melanie tonight about a new date.

We have a new field hockey club at MJHS which will be practicing 2-3 days per week at MA. I have added the club to our weekly practice schedule which can be found on the MJHS page of the RSU67 website.

MJHS Girls soccer practice is cancelled for Friday 9/5.

The plan is to start fall cheering at MJHS on Friday, Sept. 5 with the first practice being from 2:45-4:15. Starting next week, cheering will appear on the practice schedule with all the other sports.

Here is the supply list for MJHS. Please note the change to the 4th grade list. The change was made after the progress reports were sent home, with the lists on the parent news letter.

MJHS sports registrations are open at https://students.arbitersports.com/mattanawcook-rsu-no-67/25-26-mjhs-sports. You can register your student for all sports for the school year.

Family ID will be open as of July 1st, for MJHS. The entire school year's sports will be available for registrations. Please sign your student up for every sport they think they want to participate in. Reminder that physicals are required for all sports except skiing. MJHS will be conducting an evacuation drill on Tuesday, June 10th, as part of our implementation of ALICE safety protocols.
