MJHS has been experiencing problems receiving incoming phone calls the afternoon and evening of February 29th, possibly due to weather conditions. We are working on fixing this problem, but if you are having trouble calling us on Friday, March 1st, you can reach us by emailing dphillips@rsu67.org and dyoung@rsu67.org beginning at 7:00am, and slabossiere@rsu67.org beginning at 7:30am. We are also trying our best to use caller ID to return phone calls we miss because we have been able to call out. We will update the repair progress on Friday, March 1st.

Due to the lack of snow at Mt. Jefferson, we are moving our Saturday ski trip (2/24) to Big Rock in Mars Hill. Please be prepared to sign the Big Rock waiver when you drop off your student at MJHS on Saturday. The price for this trip is still $25. The bus will leave at 9 am and return around 6 pm. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ashton Carmichael at acarmichael@rsu67.org

The Yearbook Club is happily gathering pictures of all things MJHS. If you have attended a sporting event or a musical event that involves MJHS students, and have taken pictures that you would like to share with the possibility of them being in the yearbook, please email them to me at dphillips@rsu67.org. I will gladly take a look and see what I can use.
I'm especially looking for softball/baseball/track pictures from last year. Due to deadlines we have to use last year's pictures. As this is my first year as the advisor, I didn't take pictures of last year's teams. Please do share this request to your friends if you know their child played sports last year!
Thanks
Dolly

The MJHS A boys basketball team concluded their season on Saturday with a hard fought loss to the SeDoMoCha Eagles 33-31 to finish the season 14-2 and claim runners up honors.
The Bobcats were led by Max Fitch who had a game high 15 points. Cam Thompson chipped in with 8 points. The game was intense and very physical, but in the end the Bobcats just ran out of time as they made a great effort in the final seconds to get the game tied up. The boys should be very proud of their accomplishments this season and hold their heads high. Congratulations to the A boys on a great season. Thank you for your dedication!
GO BOBATS!

UPDATE 1/16/24: Ski Club Equipment will be issued on January 17th for students who are confirmed to attend the first trip on 1/20/24 to Mars Hill. Mrs. Burns has confirmed directly with these students. January 18th will be for any student who is already registered on Family ID and does not have equipment. You must plan to have a ride available to pick up your skier and their equipment as most students will not receive equipment before the late bus arrives. Due to the large numbers of students who still need equipment, this could take until 5:30 or 6:00 for some students to be finished. Email acarmichael@rsu67.org with any questions and check out the detailed letter posted in the news section of our website.
